The Professional Practice Manual for the Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist contains important documents and resources relating to the nurse anesthesia practice. To ensure that this information provided in the manual is relevant, timely, and evidence-based, the AANA Practice Committee continuously reviews and updates these documents. The AANA Board of Directors subsequently approves the documents. This review, update, and approval process is ongoing, resulting in new documents being released periodically throughout the year.
